Keynote lecture topic: Statistical Models with Shape Constraints

Dr. Geurt Jongbloed is Professor of Mathematical Statistics at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. His research focuses on nonparametric statistics, shape-constrained inference, inverse problems, and statistical methods for incomplete data, with applications ranging from biology and medicine to engineering and climate science. He received his PhD in mathematical statistics from TU Delft in 1995 and has held academic positions at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam before returning to TU Delft as full professor in 2007. Dr. Jongbloed is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and has contributed extensively to statistical research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
