Dr. Marta González García is a researcher and lecturer in data science and astrophysics at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU), Spain. Her work focuses on the application of mathematical and statistical methods to astronomical data, including the study of stellar clusters, star formation, and galactic structure. She received her PhD in Physics and Mathematics after studying applied mathematics and has also specialized in big data analysis and visualization. Her career includes research at institutions such as the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía and IPAG (Grenoble), as well as experience as a data scientist in industry. Her interests lie at the intersection of astronomy, statistics, and data science.
